Beliefs shape our lives and eternal destiny. Here are the essential beliefs we have as followers of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth.

The Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; as well as to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit.

God has spoken in the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, through the words of human authors. As the verbally inspired Word of God- the Bible is without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation, and the ultimate authority by which every realm of human knowledge and endeavor should be judged. Therefore it is to be believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are therefore under condemnation. Yet we also believe that God regenerates, by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. And that Jesus Christ baptizes the believer with the Holy Spirit and empowers them for service.
Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; 1 John 1:9; Acts 2:38; Acts 1:8
God commands everyone, everywhere, to believe the gospel by turning to Him in repentance and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto eternal life, and they that are lost unto everlasting damnation.

The Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe in baptism by immersion, and communion, open to all believers.
Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:25-26
The universal church is the living, spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:18; Romans 12:4-5; Ephesians 4:3-4
We believe that marriage has been instituted by God. Marriage is defined as the exclusive covenantal union of a man and a woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment. A civil government’s sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage only to the extent that it is consistent with the definition of marriage found in the Bible. We believe that legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage. Hence, sexual relations outside of marriage are incompatible with the biblical witness.
